Strong figures! Best quarter ever for Joyn. ProSieben, SAT.1 and Kabel Eins grow in March
Munich, April 1, 2025. That's something to be proud of. ProSiebenSat.1's entertainment offerings impress with very good figures in the first quarter: The ProSiebenSat.1 superstreamer Joyn shines with the best quarter in its history. In March, ProSieben enjoys its best monthly market share in a year. SAT.1 and Kabel Eins are convincing in their channel target groups in March and are up on February's figures. The target group channel SAT.1 GOLD celebrates the best first quarter in its history.
Overall, the linear #P7S1 channels are on previous year’s level with a market share of 20.8% among 14-59-year-old viewers in March and 19.8% in the first quarter of 2025.

Joyn grows and grows and grows
The super streamer achieves its best quarter since the platform was launched. Watchtime increases by an excellent 40% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to Q1 2024. Compared to the previous record quarter Q4 2024, the number of average monthly video users grew by 3%, and by an outstanding 22% compared to the previous year's quarter.
The main drivers were the strong reality and show programs: from "Promis unter Palmen" (Stars under palms) and "Big Brother" to "Germany's Next Topmodel - by Heidi Klum" and "Wer stiehlt mir die Show?" (Stealing the Show).
ProSieben is the biggest winner in March
Up 2.1%! No other station grew as much as ProSieben in March. With a very good monthly market share of 8.3% in its channel target group (viewers aged 14 to 49), ProSieben is enjoying its best month in a year. The good figures were boosted by strong prime-time shows: Sebastian Pufpaff dominated Tuesday evenings with "TV total" (up to 13.4%). The "Germany's Next Topmodel - by Heidi Klum" men are leading on Wednesday evening with up to 16.8%. Heidi's women shine on Thursday evening with a market share of up to 21.2%. The new Joko & Klaas live show "Ein sehr gutes Quiz (mit hoher Gewinnsumme)" (A very good Quiz (with a very high prize money)) wins Saturday evening twice at the first attempt. And "Wer stiehlt mir die Show?" (Stealing the Show) thrilled viewers on Sunday evening with a market share of up to 23.7%.
SAT.1 convinces with a strong prime time
Thanks to "Promis unter Palmen" (Stars under palms) and "Das 1 % Quiz" (The 1% quiz), SAT.1 increased its market share in the prime time (8:15 to 11 p.m.) to a good 6.1% in its target group (viewers aged 14 to 59) in March, putting it well ahead of January and February. With a monthly market share of 5.5%, March is SAT.1's best month in 2025. Strong: The new "SAT.1 Frühstücksfernsehen" on Saturdays starts with a market share of up to 8.8%. A huge success on Joyn, on course for growth on SAT.1: The third season of the early evening series "Die Landarztpraxis" (The country doctor's office) is well ahead of the second after the first half of the third season and has an average market share of 5.1% and the tendency is increasing.
Kabel Eins makes gains
Kabel Eins grew by +0.2% in March compared to February and achieved a market share of 4.1% in its target group (viewers aged 14 to 59). The channel repeatedly celebrates top daily figures of up to 5.4%. The main growth drivers are prime time with an increase of +0.4% and the stronger early evening at the weekend.
SAT.1 GOLD celebrates records
SAT.1 GOLD is celebrating the best first quarter in its history: The station is trumping both in the target group of 14- to 59-year-olds (2.2%) and with a market share of 3.6% in its target group (women aged 40 to 64). This is also noticeable on Joyn. SAT.1 GOLD programs have never been more successful on Joyn than in the first quarter of 2025.
